Simulação de célula robotizada numa linha de produção de veios para aumentar o OEE dos equipamentos

Abstract

A presente dissertação foi realizada no âmbito de um projeto individual em contexto industrial, inserido no 2º ano do Mestrado em Engenharia e Gestão de Operações da Universidade do Minho. O objetivo principal centrou-se em aumentar os índices de Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) de uma linha dedicada á produção de veios, na unidade fabril da WEGeuro - Indústria Elétrica, S.A. em Santo Tirso, aplicando ferramentas Lean Manufacturing. Em primeira instância, foi elaborada uma fundamentação teórica detalhada, estabelecendo uma base teórica dos temas a aplicar na prática ao longo do projeto, relacionadas principalmente com o Lean Production. De seguida, foi apresentada a história da empresa a onde decorreu o estágio, bem com a sua notoriedade, a nível global e nacional e, a sua unidade produtiva em Santo Tirso. A metodologia de investigação utilizada foi a Action-Research, que tem como primeira etapa diagnosticar a situação atual. Para tal, foram efetuadas diversas visitas ao chão de fábrica e utilizadas ferramentas como estudo de tempos, diagrama de Spaghetti e análise ABC, tendo por base os dados do sistema WEG Shop Floor Management (WSFM), uma ferramenta que recolhe os dados dos equipamentos em tempo real e calcula o respetivo OEE. Posteriormente, após a verificação de desperdícios e de oportunidades de melhoria, foram propostas ações de melhoria, em específico, uma célula robotizada que teve como base um software de simulação industrial para estimar a atualização no OEE dos equipamentos, conjugadas com ferramentas como o Standard Work e o diagrama de Gantt. Como resultado da simulação, verificou-se um aumento geral do OEE dos equipamentos gargalo em 2,74%.

This dissertation was conducted as part of an individual project in an industrial context, integrated into the 2nd year of the Master's degree in Engineering and Operations Management at the University of Minho. The main objective was focused on increasing the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) indices of a dedicated shaft production line at the manufacturing facility of WEGeuro - Electrical Industry, S.A. in Santo Tirso, through the application of Lean Manufacturing tools. Initially, a comprehensive theoretical framework was developed, establishing a theoretical foundation for the concepts to be applied in practice throughout the project, primarily related to Lean Production. Afterwards, the history of the company where the internship took place was presented, along with its global and national prominence, and its production unit in Santo Tirso. The research methodology employed was Action-Research, with the initial step being the diagnosis of the current situation. To achieve this, numerous visits to the factory floor were conducted, and tools such as time studies, spaghetti diagrams, ABC analysis, and data from the WEG Shop Floor Management (WSFM) system were utilized. The WSFM tool collects real-time equipment data and calculates the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by multiplying the three indices. Afterwards, following the identification of waste and improvement opportunities, improvement actions were proposed, specifically a robotic cell. This was based on industrial simulation software to estimate the enhancement in OEE of the equipment, in conjunction with tools such as Standard Work and a Gantt chart. As a result of the simulation, an overall increase of 2.74% in OEE of the bottleneck equipment was observed.
