A aula de Português: a compreensão na leitura

Abstract

O presente Relatório constitui uma narrativa profissional do ano de estágio realizado em 2021/2022 com uma turma do 12.º ano. O relatório está dividido em dois capítulos, onde, no primeiro, consta a fase inicial do estágio, a análise e averiguação que se realizou com a turma, para se perceber os problemas e as dificuldades que os alunos apresentavam. Tal como o título indica, o principal foco foi na compreensão na leitura. O ensino da compreensão na leitura deve recair sobre estratégias pedagógicas dirigidas para o desenvolvimento do conhecimento linguístico dos jovens e do conhecimento que dispõem do mundo, de modo a que consigam compreender bem o texto e ler fluentemente, adaptar-se bem aos variados significados da palavra escrita. Na escrita procurou-se seguir maioritariamente o modelo tridimensional da escrita de Flower e Hayes (1981) que consiste em três grandes componentes, a planificação, a redação e a revisão. Na gramática, o foco foi nos conteúdos que costumam sair no exame, de um lado surgia a teoria e do outro lado a prática, considerando-se este um método pertinente. Por último, na oralidade, que tem tendência a ser um domínio pouco valorizado, tentou se que os alunos adquirissem técnicas de comunicação que lhes seriam úteis tanto no dia a dia, quanto para o futuro em momentos importantes, como numa entrevista de emprego. Neste relatório, foram expostas atividades e também reflexões que contribuem para o desenvolvimento dos alunos, com o objetivo principal de se tornarem leitores autónomos e críticos. É de salientar que todos os métodos utilizados foram adaptados às especificidades da turma e ao modelo que estavam habituados a usar com o professor cooperante.

This Report constitutes a professional narrative of the internship year carried out in 2021/2022 with a 12th grade class. The report is divided into two chapters, where in the first, it appears the initial internship phase, the analysis and investigation that was carried out with the class, to understand the problems and difficulties that the students presented. As everything indicates according to the tittle, the main focus was on reading comprehension. Teaching reading comprehension must rely on pedagogical strategies aimed at developing young people's linguistic knowledge and their knowledge of the world, so that they can understand the text well and read fluently, adapting well to the varied meanings of the word writing. In writing, we mostly tried to follow Flower and Hayes (1981) three-dimensional model of writing, which consists of three major components, planning, writing and reviewing. In grammar, the focus was on the contents that usually appear in the exam, on one side there was theory and on the other side there was practice, considering this to be a relevant method. Finally, in speaking, which tends to be an undervalued domain, we tried to encourage students to acquire communication techniques that would be useful both on a daily basis and in the future in important moments, such as a job interview. In this report, activities and reflections that contribute to the development of students were exposed, with the main objective of becoming autonomous and critical readers. It should be noted that all the methods used were adapted to the specificities of the class and the model they were used to using with the cooperating teacher.
