A experiência ótima de lazer nos jovens: interação entre as experiências de florescimento e aborrecimento

Abstract

No presente estudo testou-se o modelo conceptual proposto por Freire et al., 2021, que cruza o florescimento e o aborrecimento para entender a Experiência Ótima de Lazer nos adultos emergentes (18-25 anos). A amostra é constituída por 150 estudantes universitários. A análise de clusters permitiu identificar 4 clusters, correspondentes a diferentes tipos de experiência de lazer propostas pelo modelo conceptual. A comparação de médias entre clusters mostrou diferenças significativas sobretudo, entre o cluster relativo à Experiência de Lazer de Risco e os clusters correspondentes à Experiência Ótima de Lazer e à Experiência de Lazer de Desafio, ao nível das atitudes, satisfação, motivação, afeto positivo e afeto negativo. Quando comparadas, a Experiência Ótima de Lazer e a Experiência de Lazer de Desafio apenas registaram diferenças significativas ao nível do afeto negativo.

In the present study, the conceptual model proposed by Freire et al., 2021 was tested, which crosses flourishing and boredom to understand the Optimal Leisure Experience in emerging adults (18- 25 years old). The sample consists of 150 university students. Cluster analysis allowed the identification of 4 clusters, corresponding to different types of leisure experience proposed by the conceptual model. The comparison of means between clusters showed significant differences, especially between the cluster relating to the Risky Leisure Experience and the clusters corresponding to the Optimal Leisure Experience and the Challenge Leisure Experience, in terms of attitudes…satisfaction, motivation, positive affect and negative affect. When compared, the Optimal Leisure Experience and the Challenging Leisure Experience only registered significant differences in terms of negative affect.
