Qualidade de vida na deficiência – contributos do/a técnico/a de serviço social

Abstract

A presente dissertação apoia-se na análise reflexiva sobre a intervenção do/a assistente social numa organização de solidariedade social, a CERCI Braga - Cooperativa de Educação e Reabilitação para Cidadãos mais incluídos. A partir deste contexto, pretende-se compreender os fatores de exclusão social e os consequentes desafios de inclusão social em torno das pessoas com deficiência na sociedade portuguesa e o impacto do Serviço Social como meio de ligação entre os beneficiários, os seus significativos, a própria instituição e a comunidade, a fim de melhorar a qualidade de vida dos mesmos. Na possibilidade de realizar um estágio profissional como técnica de serviço social na instituição, a metodologia de pesquisa é sustentada na combinação dos métodos qualitativos possíveis, como a observação participante, conversas formais e informais e a realização de entrevistas e questionários dirigidos a todos os atores envolvidos neste contexto.

This dissertation is based on the reflective analysis of the intervention of the social worker in a social solidarity organization, CERCI Braga - Cooperativa de Educação e Reabilitação para Cidadãos mais Incluídos. From this context, it is intended to understand the factors of social exclusion and the consequent challenges of social inclusion around people with disabilities in portuguese society and the impact of social work as a means of connection between beneficiaries, their significant others, the very institution and the community, in order to improve their quality of life. In the possibility of carrying out a professional internship as a social service technician at the institution, the research methodology is based on the combination of possible qualitative methods, such as participant observation, formal and informal conversations and conducting interviews and questionnaires addressed to all the actors involved in this context.
