Linguagem e comunicação na creche e no jardim de infância

Abstract

O presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Estágio, integrado no plano de Estudos do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar do Ensino Básico da Universidade do Minho. Em contexto de creche, o projeto de intervenção pedagógica centrou-se na Reorganização e dinamização da área dos livros, como resultado da observação da organização do espaço de aprendizagem e dos interesses do grupo de crianças. Essa observação pôs em evidência a necessidade de enriquecer a área dos livros, a fim de proporcionar experiências significativas e desafiantes de comunicação e linguagem. Em contexto de jardim de infância, a intervenção pedagógica focalizou-se na temática da Comunicação e Linguagem, procurando responder aos interesses das crianças pelas caraterísticas da linguagem oral e escrita. Deste modo, o projeto visou promover aprendizagens no domínio da linguagem oral, ampliar o léxico das crianças, promover a consciência linguística e estimular a imaginação e a criatividade das mesmas. No âmbito dos projetos desenvolvidos em creche e em jardim de infância, foram desenvolvidas estratégias de intervenção pedagógica diversificadas, tais como: reorganização da área dos livros; introdução de novos materiais nessa área; leitura e exploração de livros; atividades de exploração lúdica da linguagem; envolvimento das famílias na exploração da linguagem oral, a partir de vários tipos de texto; utilização de mediadores cinético-dramáticos. Nos dois contextos, procurei responder aos interesses das crianças e proporcionar-lhes experiências de aprendizagem ativa participativa. Para isso, fui observando e documentando essas experiências, a fim de sustentar a planificação e a avaliação das estratégias de intervenção pedagógica. A intervenção pedagógica desenvolvida deu importantes contributos para ampliar as oportunidades de comunicação e linguagem entre as crianças e estimulou um crescente interesse por atividades em torno deste domínio de aprendizagem.

This report was prepared within the ambit of the Internship Curricular Unit, integrated in the Study Plan for the Master’s Degree in Pre-School and Basic Education at the University of Minho. In the context of a daycare center, the pedagogical intervention project focused on the “Reorganization and dynamization of the book area”, as a result of the observation of the organization of the learning space and the interests of the group of children. This observation highlighted the need to enrich the book area, in order to provide meaningful and challenging communication and language experiences. In the context of a kindergarten, the pedagogical intervention focused on the theme of Communication and Language, seeking to respond to children's interests in the characteristics of oral and written language. In this way, the project aimed to promote learning in the domain of oral language, to expand the lexicon of children, to promote linguistic awareness and to stimulate their imagination and creativity. Within the scope of the projects I developed in daycare centers and kindergartens, diversified pedagogical intervention strategies were developed, such as: Reorganization of the book area; Introduction of new materials to the book area; Reading and exploration of books; Playful exploration of language; Involvement of families in the exploration of oral language through the use of various types of text; Use of kinetic-dramatic mediators. In both previously described contexts, I attempted to respond to the interests of the children and to provide them with experiences of active participatory learning. To that end, I observed and documented these experiences in order to support the planning and evaluation of pedagogical intervention strategies. The pedagogical intervention developed made important contributions to expand communication and language opportunities among children and stimulated a growing interest in activities around this learning domain.
