This report was carried out as part of the curricular internship for the Master's Degree in Communication Sciences - Information and Journalism Specialisation Area, which began on 3 October 2022 and ended on 6 January 2023, in the newsroom of Agência Lusa, in Porto. In addition to presenting the host identity and describing the activities carried out, this article aims to analyse the production of information in news agencies, namely Agência Lusa, and is based on bibliographical research, which sought to interpret agency journalism through the definitions and opinions of various authors. The first part is a review of the literature, which aims to demonstrate how agency journalism informs. In general, the aim is to describe how this type of journalism is carried out in our country, the language and sources used. Agência Lusa is one of the main sources of information for the various media organisations. In this way, throughout the internship report, the aim is firstly to approach Agência Lusa as an institution, to discuss some aspects of it, to convey its main guidelines, its products and services and also its strategy. Through the three-month internship experience at this company, the various tasks carried out as an intern, the lessons learnt, the difficulties, the field trips, among other things, will be identified. Agência Lusa's Stylebook is a document that will be highlighted in this report, as well as the rigour and speed of information, and also the role that Lusa can play in combating fake news. That said, it is important to look at the evolution of news agencies in Portugal, to understand which were the main agencies that stood out in our country and to address each of them. At the same time, it will be essential to understand whether the agencies are in fact considered sources of information for the various media organisations. The main focus of this internship report is on an important question: How does Lusa gain access to information in order to pass it on to other organisations? In other words, the internship report aims to address how Lusa has access to information, to understand what Lusa does to often be the first to report. In a nutshell, the media use Agência Lusa as a source of information and what I want to understand better is how the information reaches Lusa and the production routines that turn the agency into a kind of "news supply market". In order to answer the research questions in the internship report, we used a qualitative methodology by conducting interviews to clarify these aspects. At the same time, we tried to use documents (books, magazines, bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses, etc.) to describe the methodological options. At the end, after conducting the interviews and finalising the state of the art (where the opinions of various authors are compared), the final considerations will be written down.por
