No lugar do outro: educar para valores

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio, intitulado No lugar do outro: educar para valores, tem como principal objetivo entender de que forma é que o diálogo reiterado sobre valores humanos com as crianças, em contexto de sala de aula, na Educação Pré-Escolar e no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, influencia as suas vivências diárias. Este estudo surgiu da observação atenta dos contextos educativos onde as crianças, por vezes, tinham dificuldades em se relacionarem, surgindo pequenos conflitos. Além disso, considero que é fundamental agir perante uma crise de valores que se faz sentir cada vez mais na sociedade moderna, devido a tempos de incerteza e imprevisibilidade, à diversidade do mundo e às mudanças aceleradas do mesmo. Durante a intervenção promoveram-se aprendizagens significativas, integradas no quotidiano das crianças/alunos, dando-lhes um papel ativo no processo ensino-aprendizagem, escutando a sua voz. Pretendeu-se, assim, que essas aprendizagens contribuíssem para a formação de cidadãos conscientes, interventivos, responsáveis e educados, promovendo sempre o desenvolvimento de competências, mas acima de tudo de atitudes. A investigação decorreu com o intuito de responder à seguinte questão: Será que o diálogo recorrente sobre valores humanos influencia o comportamento das crianças/alunos? Para a realização deste estudo de cariz qualitativo foi utilizada a metodologia de investigação-ação, orientada por ciclos sistemáticos de observação, planificação, ação e reflexão, a fim de melhorar a qualidade do processo de ensino-aprendizagem. O método de recolha de informação baseou-se na observação, utilizando instrumentos e técnicas como as notas de campo, reflexões semanais e registos fotográficos. Ao longo do estudo irão ser apresentados os contextos educativos do estágio, um enquadramento teórico onde serão aprofundados tópicos fundamentais para este estudo, a metodologia utilizada e os instrumentos e técnicas utilizados, a descrição e análise de algumas das intervenções, e por fim, as considerações finais.

This internship report, entitled In the place of the other: educating for values, aims to understand how the reiterated dialogue about human values, in a classroom context, with children in Pre-School Education and the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, influences their daily experiences. This study emerged from the careful observation of educational contexts where children sometimes had difficulties relating, resulting in small conflicts. Furthermore, I believe that it is essential to act in the face of a crisis of values due to times of uncertainty and unpredictability, the diversity of the world and its accelerated changes. During the intervention, significant learning was promoted, and integrated into children's daily lives, giving them an active role in the teaching-learning process, and listening to their voices. It was intended, therefore, that these learnings would contribute to the formation of conscious, interventionist, responsible and educated citizens, always promoting the development of skills, but above all attitudes. The investigation took place to answer the following question: Does the recurrent dialogue about human values influence the behaviour of children/students? To carry out this qualitative study, the research-action methodology was used, guided by systematic cycles of observation, planning, action and reflection, to improve the quality of the teaching learning process. The method of collecting information was based on observation, using instruments and techniques such as field notes, weekly reflections, and photographic records. Throughout the study, it will be presented the educational contexts of the internship, a theoretical framework, the adopted methodology, the instruments and techniques used, the description and analysis of some of the interventions, and finally, conclusions.
