Contributo da metodologia ágil EduScrum na aprendizagem da programação e no desenvolvimento do perfil do aluno

Abstract

Este relatório enquadra-se na Unidade Curricular Estágio Profissional, do 2º ano do Mestrado de Ensino de Informática e pretende testemunhar o trabalho realizado no contexto da Intervenção Pedagógica Supervisionada, com o tema “Contributo da metodologia ágil EduScrum na aprendizagem da programação e no desenvolvimento do perfil do aluno”. A intervenção foi realizada no Agrupamento de Escolas Alberto Sampaio, no segundo turno, da turma do 3º ano do Curso Profissional de Técnico de Gestão e Programação de Sistemas Informáticos. Este documento relata toda a estratégia pedagógica adotada no decorrer da Intervenção Pedagógica Supervisionada. Tendo sido a presente intervenção apoiada na Metodologia Ágil EduScrum, na qual, trouxe para a sala de aula objetivos a atingir, nomeadamente na programação em Bash Script, e onde predominou o que “devia ser feito” e não o “como devia ser feito”, incutindo em cada aluno a capacidade de ser protagonista do seu progresso, no processo de aprendizagem. A recolha de dados foi feita através de um questionário final sobre a Intervenção Pedagógica Supervisionada e também a partir da análise de um modelo de reflexão, realizado pelos alunos, individualmente, em todas as aulas. A partir dos resultados obtidos com esta turma concluiu-se que o recurso à metodologia EduScrum contribuiu para a motivação dos alunos e permitiu desenvolver competências na área da programação, assim como nos valores e áreas de competência do Perfil dos Alunos à Saída da Escolaridade Obrigatória (PASEO).

This report was created for the curricular unit Professional Training, 2nd year MA in IT teaching and aims at describing the field work during the supervised pedagogical intervention. Its theme is the contribution of Agile Methodology EduScrum in programming learning and in the development of the student’s profile. This intervention was performed in the group of schools Alberto Sampaio, in the second class group of the 3rd year class of the Professional Course of Technician in Management and Programming of Computer Systems. The whole pedagogical strategy that was adopted during the supervised intervention will be reported here. This exercise was based on the Agile Methodology EduScrum which brought into the classroom specific attainable goals, namely in Bash Script. The main focus was “what should be done” and not “how it should be done”, providing the tools to each student to become the protagonist of his own progress during the learning process. The data was gathered via a final questionnaire on the supervised pedagogical intervention and also through a visual model of reflection, submitted by each student in every class. The results from this specific class showed using the Agile model contributes for the students’ motivation and allows them to develop skills not only in the programming area but also in the values they are to obtain at the end of their present and mandatory cycle of studies (PASEO).
