dc.description.abstractThe novel iridium-pentafluorophenyl porphyrin complex (TPFPPIrCl(CO)) was successfully synthesized by chemical reaction with the iridium (I) metal precursor [Ir(COD)Cl](2). The final complex was identified linked to the axial Cl and CO ligands by UV-Visible, H-1, C-13 NMR spectroscopy as well the H-1/C-13 correlated techniques and by mass spectrometry.por
