A dinamização cultural dos recursos informativos do Arquivo Municipal de Paredes de Coura

Abstract

A presente tese de mestrado é um relatório de projeto e dá conta do trabalho exercido, desde a criação do Serviço de Arquivo, passando pela abertura ao público do novo edifício do Arquivo Municipal de Paredes de Coura (AMPCR), até à atualidade, pela Técnica Superior de Arquivo. Aqui se procura refletir, de modo conceptual, sobre as estratégias encontradas para afirmar na comunidade o novo equipamento cultural, e se revelam os principais vetores de atuação: a preservação documental, a dinamização cultural e a comunicação. Que se materializam em três conceitos interligados, a memória, a identidade e a informação. Neste trabalho é abordada a acessibilidade, física e intelectual, aos recursos informativos à guarda do AMPCR e o valor acrescentado que resulta da partilha do seu capital simbólico com os diversos utilizadores, contribuindo para a democratização do património cultural em sentido lato e para a construção de conhecimento. Pretende-se, em suma, revelar o perfil identitário do Arquivo Municipal, ancorado no sentido de responsabilidade, mas também na criatividade, almejando ser uma referência na prestação de um serviço de qualidade.

This master thesis is a project report of the work pursued, since the establishment of the Archive Service, through the opening of the new building of the Municipal Archive of Paredes de Coura, to the present, by superior technical archive. Here if you are looking to reflect, so conceptually, on the strategies found to assert in the community the new cultural equipment, and are the main vectors of activity: the preservation of documents, communication and cultural dynamization. To materialize in three interrelated concepts, memory, identity and information. In this work is addressed accessibility, intellectual and physical, informational resources in the custody of the AMPCR and the added value resulting from the sharing of its symbolic capital with the various users, contributing to the democratization of the cultural heritage in the broad sense and the construction of knowledge. It is intended, in short, reveal the identity of the Municipal Archive, anchored in the sense of responsibility, but also on creativity, craving to be a reference in the provision of a quality service.
