In the context of general relativistic elasticity, conformally related material metrics are considered and consequences are studied for relativistic elastic quantities, such as strain tensor, energy density and elasticity difference tensor. Relations are established for these quantities associated with both material metrics, showing the relevance of the conformal factor. An algebraic analysis of the elasticity difference tensor is performed based on the previous relations. Applications are presented for static spherically symmetric configurations.por
