Estudos comparativos sobre os utensílios e as culturas de vinho na China e em Portugal

Abstract

Com uma longa história e diversas tipologias, o licor chinês tem-lhe associado requintados e magníficos utensílios, que refletem uma longa tradição cultural. O vinho português é mundialmente renomado, com uma variedade de utensílios requintados e meticulosos, que combinam com vinhos diferentes. Esta dissertação tem como objetivo principal analisar e descrever os utensílios vinícolas da China e de Portugal, de forma a comparar a cultura do vinho dos dois países, concentrando-se sobretudo nos contrastes e apresentando as diferenças culturais subjacentes. A pesquisa está dividida em três partes: vinho, utensílios e cultura vinícola. Na primeira parte, apresenta-se diferentes bebidas alcoólicas, métodos de fermentação, armazenamento e aproveitamento. A segunda parte mostra, com ilustrações, as formas e padrões de vários copos e garrafas de vinho em diferentes períodos da história das duas nações e a sua adequação a bebidas distintas. Discute-se ainda, num terceiro momento, o papel do vinho nas obras literárias, crenças religiosas e cultura popular. Diferentes contextos geográficos fazem com que as pessoas dos dois países tenham diferentes preferências em relação a bebidas alcoólicas, garrafas e copos que daí derivam, bem como culturas do vinho muito próprias. No entanto, independentemente da nacionalidade, o vinho surge sempre associado aos momentos felizes da vida, como reuniões familiares, festas de amigos e encontros românticos. O vinho é uma ponte emocional direta que pode transcender a linguagem e a cultura.

This dissertation mainly aims to describe the wine vessels of China and Portugal in order to compare the wine culture of the two countries. With a long history and diverse typologies, Chinese liquor has been associated with exquisite and magnificent utensils, which reflect the long tradition and culture of Chinese wine. Portuguese wine is also world-renowned, with an array of exquisite and meticulous utensils matching different wines. This thesis focuses on the contrasts of wines and wine vessels of the two countries presenting the underlying cultural differences. The research is divided into three parts: wine, wine utensils and wine culture. In the first part, the methods of fermentation, storage and tasting methods are presented. The second part introduces the shapes and patterns of various wine glasses and bottles in different periods of the two nations' history, as well as the combination of wine and wine glasses. The third part further discusses the role of wine in literary works, religious beliefs and folk culture. The unique features of a local environment give special characteristics to its inhabitants. Different geographical conditions mean that the people of the two countries have different preferences in relation to alcoholic beverages, bottles and glasses and wine cultures with their own characteristics. However, regardless of nationality, wine is always associated with happy moments in life, such as family gatherings, friends' parties and romantic encounters. Wine is a direct emotional bridge that can transcend language and culture.

本论文对中葡两国的酒器进行了介绍，从而进一步比较两国的酒文化。中国白 酒源远流长，品类多样，其或精致或瑰丽的酒具则是源远流长的中国酒文化的实体表 现之一。而葡萄牙的葡萄酒也享誉世界，并有着一系列精致的饮酒器物用以搭配不同 的葡萄酒。本论文尝试通过将两国的葡萄酒和酒器加以对比，力图使潜在的文化异同 加以呈现。 本研究分为酒、酒器和酒文化三个部分。第一部分介绍了发酵方法、贮藏方法 和品尝方法。第二部分介绍了两国历史上不同时期各种酒杯和酒瓶的形状和图案，以 及酒和酒杯的组合。第三部分进一步论述了酒在文学作品、宗教信仰和民俗文化中的 体现和作用。 地理环境的独特性赋予其居民特殊的特征。不同的地理条件意味着两国人民对 酒类、酒瓶酒杯以及各具特色的酒文化有着不同的偏好。然而，无论国籍，葡萄酒总 是与生活中的快乐时刻联系在一起，如家庭聚会、朋友聚会和浪漫邂逅。酒是一种直 接的情感桥梁，可以超越语言和文化。
