| dc.description.abstract | The present century, markedly challenging from the point of view of the demands on complex societies and education, which is increasingly specialized, imposes countless challenges to guarantee the maintenance of everyone's right to schooling, considering the complexity of social, political, economic and cultural characteristics that the school assimilates in its context, resulting from the dynamics of multicultural society. This process has been changing the ways of relating and producing knowledge and has caused changes in the understanding of being and standing in the world, since the keynote of that time is the liquefaction of the senses, mediations and social experiences. In this sense, education, as a process that aims at social equalization, in a multicultural society marked by differences, seeks to develop an intercultural balance in the world. Thus, the school, as a training institution, increasingly embraces differences, integrates and modifies them according to their curricular configurations. The school has been continuously required to respond to the increasingly objective demands of the world of work, science, technology, culture and the humanization process of man. This is a complex role for the school, since it assimilates a conflict between technical efficiency but, above all, formative, aiming at the integral education of the being. Thus, the school seeks to move continuously in order to maintain a continuous flow of structural transformations, which never stabilizes, in order to respond to society through internal dynamics that signal its structural/organizational evolution and adaptation. On the other hand, by betting on the promotion of intercultural, dialogical and integrating society, it opens possibilities for different conceptions of school and curriculum, performance/learning and training. This scenario points to the challenge of the school promoting access and learning for indigenous peoples, by their right and by her duty, in compliance with indigenous school legislation, constituted by a significant legal, curricular and organizational apparatus that does not require the standardization of a specific curricular pedagogical project for operation. The educational project of Indigenous School Education, according to legal guidelines, should be directed towards the construction of a specific school, with its own curriculum, for each indigenous ethnicity/culture, in each ethnic context; in this sense, we work with the possibility of a curricular integration between scientific knowledge and traditional knowledge in curricular practices, which highlights the role of the teacher as a mediator and agent of change. The data of the research carried out are presented, whose objective was to ascertain the perception of the stakeholders of the Indigenous School about what are the practices that value school diversity. For theoretical development, aimed at understanding the theme, Curriculum, Indigenous School Education and Sociodiversity: from those referring to the perceptions of the stakeholders, studies were sought in Candau (2000, 2008, 2010, 2013), Pacheco (2000, 2005, 2013) , Beane (2003), Alonso (1986, 2000), and Morin (2007, 2014). In the empirical investigation, we started from a qualitative methodological study of the case study type and, as an instrument of data collection, we used the techniques of interviews and focus group. For data analysis, content analysis (Bardin, 1977) of the transcripts of the interviews and focus groups were used. Overall, the results point to the need for a qualitative intervention in the Indigenous School in order to direct it to the context in which it is applied aiming at the integration of traditional/ecological knowledge and scientific/school knowledge and integral training of students to act purposefully in contemporary society. | por |
