| dc.description.abstract | This report aims to demonstrate that a teaching model that favours the active participation of the student in the learning process contributes to stimulate the student's autonomy, encourage critical thinking and stimulate the ability to make decisions. Based on this assumption, we resorted to teaching-learning strategies, such as the construction of conceptual maps, pedagogical workshops and cooperative work, which allowed the student to construct his own knowledge. Thus, we designed a plan of pedagogical tasks that would lead the students to be actively involved in the class and, at the same time, create a space for learning by discovery that would allow them to consolidate the learning achieved in the previous study cycle, to integrate new information and to deepen their knowledge in the various areas that construct language: writing, speaking, reading, grammar and literacy education. This plan was designed in the light of the didactics of portuguese and the constructivist theory of learning. We used a qualitative methodological approach which includes class observation, tasks, analysis and evaluation of formative and summative sheets. The analyses of the data collected during the lessons allowed us to systematically reflect on the practice, creating, if necessary, "new paths" which, in our reading, would facilitate student learning. In general, we consider that a teaching model based on the active role of the student in the teaching learning process may be a viable pathway for the achievement of essential learning, as well as for the construction of the student's profile (expected) at the end of compulsory education. | por |
